Skills Days for Health Students
Whilst studying HITsa’s health courses as either a short course or qualification, students are provided with Practical Skills Days in order to help develop skills required to support a large range of people.
Whether it’s supporting people living with a disability or the elderly, training prepares students to assist them with daily activities, helping clients to develop greater levels of independence and to support people to access their community – which is so vital in human nature; to feel a sense of belonging.
Skills days provide students with the opportunity to be shown how to use various equipment and receive guidance and support from qualified trainers who have worked in industry.
Be a step ahead of the rest when beginning a work placement and/or upskilling for the next step in your career!
