Employment Options / Hospitality & Food Industry Skills

HITsa partnered with Employment Options in August to deliver a short course in Hospitality and Food Industry skills.

Chef David has spent the last 4 weeks working closely with participants from Employment Options to inspire them to consider cooking as a career choice.

Running from the Adelaide Christian Centre in the city, 11 participants kicked off to learn the basic skills including food hygiene, methods of cookery and using food preparation equipment.

They clearly loved the training and were part of the graduation last week.

If you are interested in learning some cookery basics – check out HITsa Basic Skills for the Food Industry course on our website.

Funded by the State Government makes it a very affordable course to kick start your cookery career.
