CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Work placement will be a minimum of 120 hours
- Face-to-face training will be conducted at
BLENDED DELIVERY
- Theory completed online – students will require access to WiFi, computer or laptop
- A minimum of 28 face to face training sessions to complete knowledge and practical assessment including manual handling (non-accredited)
HITsa Training and Employment have an operational skill centre to allow participants to practice within a safe environment prior to work placement.
Training will include a mix of theory and practical study.
All participants completing this aged care course must complete a minimum of 120 hours work placement to complete this qualification.
HITsa will arrange suitable work placement with one of our industry partners, once the participant has completed all training requirements.
Work placement will give the participant the opportunity to put training into practice in an employment setting, assisting the transition to employment.
Assessment will include a combination of theory and practical observation (skill centre and work placement).
All course materials including work placement uniform will be provided to the student and access to the internet will be required for self-paced and online activities.
Participants successfully completing all units of training and work placement will be issued with the nationally recognised qualification CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
Participants that do not complete the full qualification will be issued with an Academic Transcript.
