CHC30121 – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Face-to-face training will be conducted at your preferred HITsa location—Clarence Gardens, Salisbury or Mount Barker
This qualification is delivered using a blended model with self paced online training and face to face sessions.
- Theory is completed online. Access to internet and a computer is required.
- Face to face training is completed over 22 training sessions
- Sessions include practical skills days undertaken at HITsa and supervised by our industry experienced trainers
- A minimum of 160 hours of work placement must be completed

HITsa maintains a skills centre at each of our locations. Here participants can practice the skills they are developing under the supervision of our trainer. This provides a safe learning environment for participants to practice prior to work placement commencing.
Training delivery include a mix of theory and practical study.
All participants must undertake a minimum of 160 hours work placement to complete the qualification. HITsa’s Work Placement CoOrdinator will arrange suitable work placement with one of our industry partners.
Work placement gives participants the valuable opportunity to put training into practice in an operational setting.
Assessment will include theory knowledge and practical observation in both the HITsa skill centre and during work placement.
Participants who successfully complete all units of training and work placement will be issued with the nationally recognised qualification CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Participants who do not complete the full qualification will be issued with an Academic Transcript.
