SIR30216 – Certificate III in Retail
This qualification is offered as fee-for-service.
It can be undertaken through a contract of training. Delivery will be over the term of the contract of training, nominally 12 months full time or part time equivalent. A timetable will be developed to suit the needs of the employer and the trainee.
Bespoke courses can be developed in consultation with the employer / service provider to maximise attendance and engagement.
A minimum of 5 participants is required to commence a course.
Training will include a mix of self-paced, theory and practical study and may require pre-work to be completed independently prior to assessment.
Delivery
Training can be delivered at your preferred HITsa location— Salisbury, Clarence Gardens or Mount Barker, or it can take place at your business location or even virtually.
Training can commence at any time (subject to minimum enrolments). There is no need to wait until the beginning of a term or semester.
Delivery options are flexible. Examples include trainer-lead sessions once per month complemented by self-paced online study over 12 months or a more intensive program of face-to-face delivery four days per week over seven weeks.
For school students completing this qualification under a traineeship arrangement, sessions can be scheduled after school hours over a 12 month period. Sessions will be virtual and each session will run for between 2 – 4 hours.
Assessment will include a combination of theory knowledge and practical observation.
All course materials will be provided to the participant.
Access to the internet, a computer and camera will be required for virtual training sessions.
