Individual Support Student Workplace Visits

HITsa’s trainers take part in the workplace component of each student’s Individual Support qualification.

Once all theory and practical training has been completed, HITsa’s Workplace Coordinator Jeanette matches students with workplaces, where they complete the workplace component of their qualification.

HITsa trainer Corinna had the pleasure of visiting student Aleasha during her work placement at the Lotus Project, Gawler.

Aleasha took pride in showing Corinna around the workplace, interacting with clients and a tour of the farmyard to meet the animals and see the gardens.

Aleasha is in her element during her time at the workplace, given the opportunity to begin her work experience by doing something she loves.

HITsa trainer Corinna had the opportunity to visit Laticia B at her work placement with Gawler Grande Views.

This photo was taken during Laticia’s last week of placement. The smile says it all – she had the experience of being in a workplace environment, doing something she enjoys.

Laticia is passionate about being a part of the care industry and is taking the initiative to engage in employment opportunities at an aboriginal facility near her home.

HITsa wishes you all the best for your bright future ahead.
